Everything you need to restore your smile, comfort, pride, and confidence is under our well-appointed roof. So, it’s no wonder other dentists, physicians, and wellness professionals refer their valued patients to us daily. Our comprehensive services are second to none in terms of restoring and supporting a natural, attractive appearance as well as healthy function.
How can you make my teeth look less yellow?
Teeth whitening is one of the most popular dental services. If you’ve tried drugstore whitening kits and were disappointed by the results, there is a reason for this— not only are these kits simply not formulated with the right concentrations of active ingredients to break up stains and lighten teeth, they also do not keep the whitening solutions in contact with the teeth for long enough for them to work their magic. As professionals, we utilize various types of concentrated whitening gels that have been proven to remove stains in the right situations, and more importantly, we take great care to ensure that your saliva doesn’t come into contact with the whitening solutions. “Why,” you may ask? Because your saliva naturally contains an enzyme called peroxidase that destroys the active ingredient in whitening solutions. That means that even though we use clinically proven whitening products from market leader Ultradent, if we didn’t actively protect the gel from your saliva by creating custom saliva isolation barriers for every patient, you’d be wasting your whitening budget. So you can imagine why drugstore-bought solutions virtually never lead to success.

Can all stains be removed with teeth whitening?
Not all types of discoloration are the same. For some deeply set-in stains, we may recommend dental bonding or veneers. These procedures beautifully cover stubbornly stained, visible teeth, making your teeth look healthy, natural, and youthful. Whitening works best on young teeth and dietary stains. Tobacco and other drug stains tend to be very persistent, and with every decade of life, our tooth enamel becomes thinner, allowing the banana-yellow internal layer of tooth structure to shine through. Similarly, deep stains left behind by chemicals like tetracycline antibiotics when your teeth were forming can be very hard to treat, but based on the latest and greatest science, we can prescribe whitening solutions that will improve even the toughest stains.

Are bonding and veneers just for stubborn stains?
No. These treatments are versatile. They involve designing and shaping dental materials, so they replace the front surfaces of teeth that are visible when you smile. Once cemented to the teeth, bonding and veneers can disguise a wide range of imperfections. These cosmetic concerns include:
- Chips
- Small cracks
- Excess spaces between teeth
- Minor misalignment
- Jagged or irregularly-contoured teeth
- Worn or poorly-sized teeth
Can bonding and veneers fix my crooked or crowded teeth?
Probably. These services create the appearance of aligned teeth. They do not actually straighten the teeth. So, if you have more extensive needs and bite problems (like a pronounced underbite or overbite), we can discuss clear aligners — the cosmetic way to straighten teeth without braces.

How do clear aligners straighten teeth?
Instead of brackets and wires, clear aligners use a series of invisible aligner trays to reposition the teeth over time. Because of our on-site lab capabilities, our dentists even make more than 90% of our aligners right here in the office for added convenience and utmost Quality Control. They fit perfectly the first time, and if you accidentally lose or break one, they can usually be replaced within hours.
What is the difference between bonding and veneers?
Generally, bonding involves the use of composite resin. A quartz-based, tooth-colores filling material, resin is shade-matched, applied directly to the teeth, and artistically shaped at the time of application by our dentists. Once the cosmetic concerns are no longer apparent in the smile, the composite is hardened with a special light. On the other hand, Veneers are typically made from ceramics, such as porcelain or other high-tech glass ceramics. Dentists prefer ceramics due to their ability to mimic the properties of natural enamel, while offering greater strength and resistance to stains. Bonding can be more affordable upfront, but veneers generally last longer with less upkeep when they are well taken care of. We can explore these and other considerations during your visits to our office for diagnosis and treatment planning.

What if my teeth and gums aren’t healthy?
Do not worry! We are here to help. Services like whitening, veneers, cosmetic gum surgery, and bonding are appropriate for patients with cosmetic imperfections, but otherwise healthy mouths. If that’s not you, we have a complete range of restorative and regenerative dentistry procedures that are as pleasing to the eye as they are durable and functional. We also make 99% of our dental restorations right here at Timeless Dentistry. These restorations are made conveniently, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
And even still, here at Timeless Dentistry, we are partnered with a top-flight periodontist (gum specialist) who comes to our office to help our patients cover recession with their own gums, or even regenerate lost gums and bone around problem teeth affected by gum disease.
